WHO SHOULD USE ALLUMERA?
Patients looking to improve the overall appearance of their skin including fine lines, elasticity, skin tone, skin texture, discoloration, and pore size, with minimal downtime.
HOW DOES ALLUMERA WORK?
Allumera is a patented cosmetic formulation containing, hexylaminolevulinate HCl (HAL). HAL is an aminolevulinic acid (ALA) ester. ALAs are metabolized by cells to produce protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) which are photoreactive when exposed to certain light sources. Accumulation of PpIX in cells can result in controlled elimination (apoptosis) of superficial skin cells, including damaged skin cells. Allumera targets the superficial layers of the skin to improve the overall appearance of skin including fine lines, elasticity, skin tone, skin texture, discoloration, and pore size, with minimal downtime.
